Description
Hydraulic breaker hire for concrete, tarmac and old footings, fitted to our Kubota K008-5 micro digger. Faster and far less tiring than a hand-held breaker, and it goes through a 70 cm gap on the digger. Hire it with the micro digger; it does not fit the U17-5.

What the Kubota KM55 breaker is for
The KM55 is a hydraulic breaker that goes on the arm of our K008-5 micro digger. It does the heavy work of breaking out concrete so you do not have to do it by hand.
People hire it to break out old concrete paths, patios and bases, to take up hardstanding before a new driveway, and to break old footings. The hoses are included.
It fits our K008-5 micro digger only, so book the two together. The micro needs a gate wider than 75 cm, which means the breaker can reach back gardens that a bigger machine cannot.
Where people go wrong: holding the breaker in one spot for too long. Work in from the edge, break small pieces, let the weight of the tool do the work, and never use it to lever.

Do I need a licence to hire it?
No licence or ticket is needed to hire from us or to operate the machine on private property. We hand over the machine on site, walk you through the controls and the daily checks, and the operator guide stays with the machine.
Do I need insurance?
No insurance needed to hire. You're responsible for the machine while it's with you. You can get a hired-in plant insurance quote at checkout.
Is there a deposit?
No deposit and no trade account. We keep the card you pay with on file and only charge it for damage or loss, under our hire terms.
What access width do I need?
The breaker travels on the digger, so the access width is whatever the machine needs - 75 cm for the K008-5 micro digger it is matched to.
What does delivery cost to Dudley or Walsall?
Transport is £40 each way for the first 10 miles, then £1.80 per mile after that. Dudley and Walsall are both inside the first 10 miles, so both are £40 each way. Checkout prices your exact postcode before you pay.
Is there a weekend rate?
No. We charge for every 24 hours, so there is no weekend rate. Friday to Monday is 3 days: £195 for the breaker.
