Small gardens in Stafford
Terraced houses make up 16.4% of Stafford homes, mostly close to the town centre, where back gardens are reached through an entry. The K008-5 needs a gap wider than 75 cm.
For a garden room base or a patio, the K008-5 digs, the KM55 breaker lifts old slabs, and the BOMAG roller compacts the sub-base. The digger and breaker share one delivery; the roller comes on its own.
Delivery is the same whether you keep it two days or a week, so on a 21.6-mile run, plan the job so the machine is not sitting idle.
Before the K008-5 arrives
- Measure the entry or gate at its narrowest point.
- Lay boards if the machine crosses a lawn or block paving.
- Plan where spoil goes; a road skip needs a £42 permit.
- Have an adult on site for the safety briefing.
